What is Montagne en Scène? It's a festival that brings together the best mountain sports films: skiing, mountaineering, climbing, and even paragliding. This festival was created by two mountain enthusiasts, Marion Grimwood and Cyril Salomon, in 2013. Montagne en Scène aims to bring the mountains to the city, in order to share all the beauty of mountain sports ⛰️
When does Montagne en Scène take place? There are two editions per year: the Summer and the Winter. These editions attract 150,000 spectators each year.
Where does Montagne en Scène take place? The first edition took place at the Grand Rex and was a great success. Today, it's a world tour: 20 countries (France, Switzerland, Canada, Norway, the United States, Spain, Great Britain, Ireland, Poland, Sweden, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, etc.).
What's on the program for this Winter Edition 2022? 4 incredible films have been selected: From Shadow to Light (by Davina Beyloos Montaz-Rosset and Sébastien Montaz Rosset), Free Rider (by Jérôme Tanon), Nina and Katie in Yosemite (by Collette McInerney) and Les Vagabonds du Logan (by Mathieu Rivoire). All these adventure-filled films have one thing in common: they will make you dream ✨
We are sensitive to the values that Montagne en Scène cherishes, in particular the protection of the environment . Montagne en Scène created the Montagne en Scène Foundation with the objectives of making the mountains accessible to all, protecting the environment and supporting victims of mountain accidents.
