What is the difference between Piom3 and Piom+3?
Piom3 offers five levels of constant lighting, all fully manual. It lacks the smart modes of Piom+3, but maintains the same build quality, battery life (in manual modes), and light output. This is the simplest and most straightforward version of the range.
What is “constant lighting”?
Piom3 is equipped with constant lighting : the light output remains stable throughout its use.
For example, if you choose 300 lumens for 7 hours, you will enjoy 300 actual lumens for 7 full hours . At the end of this time, the lamp switches to reserve mode , to give you time to change the battery or go home peacefully. This is what is called standard lighting.
Conversely, many lamps on the market use the ANSI FL1 standard , which measures power after only 30 seconds, and battery life until the lamp is only 10% of its initial power. In practical terms, this means that a lamp rated for “7 hours at 300 lumens” will illuminate at 300 lumens… for a few seconds, then gradually decrease, diminishing your vision, until it turns off after 7 hours.
At Go'Lum, Piom3's manual modes guarantee the same intensity from start to finish of the autonomy that we advertise.
How do I recharge my Go'Lum headlamp?
Piom3 is easily recharged using an external USB charger . This is a thoughtful choice: while one battery is charging, you can continue to use your lamp with a second.
Unlike models with an integrated USB port, which require you to turn off the lamp while charging, the Go'Lum system guarantees you total freedom of use .
Additionally, our headlamps use standard 18650 lithium-ion batteries , which are easily replaceable and commercially available—a practical, durable, and open choice, unlike proprietary formats.
What does the warranty cover up to 5 years?
Whether you opt for the 5-year warranty extension or stick with the 2-year warranty, the warranty covers any manufacturing defects or abnormal operating conditions. With responsive, local after-sales service.

Grâce à la complicité de ma compagne, j'ai eu ma Go'Lum pour mon anniversaire. Franchement, je suis bluffé. Je ne l'ai pas encore utilisée pour un usage Gravel mais elle a déjà contribué à inventorier des amphibiens dans la mare au fond du jardin et des chauves-souris dans des grottes cette semaine. Sérieusement, c'est un usage auquel vous n'aviez peut-être pas pensé mais ça remplit très largement les fonctions. Lumière ajustable, faisceau assez large, lumière rouge, poids, accus compatibles avec d'autres appareils utilisés dans des expertises naturalistes etc.

1ères sorties au top.
Mes activités sont de la marche active de nuit en forêt, et Gravel en forêt, chemins de halage, routes agricoles, route, etc.
On ne sent pas la Go'Lum, ça c'est chouette, que ce soit avec le bandeau ou sur le casque.
Le faisceau est génial et se marie parfaitement avec ma lampe fixée sur potence (grosse Klamp).
Je l'ai bien secouée et ça n'a jamais bougé, jamais en défaut même sur des petits singles avec racines cailloux rochers marches etc.
Les différentes intensités de cette frontale Piom3 sont super.
En marche, pas grand chose à reprocher.
En vélo, la seule réflexion que je me suis faite, c'est que le changement d'une intensité à l'autre est un peu "lente". J'adore la transition progressive, mais en vélo quand besoin de changer rapidement sur du single ou obstacles qui se profilent, un changement plus rapide aurait été mieux, même si le mode booster est dispo et bien utile. Mais voilà en marche j'adore cette petite transition donc...j'aime ahahah
La recharge, impec', changement de la batterie facile, le côté power bank est intéressant sur du long mais pas encore utilisé, bientôt...Avril.
